Is there a household cord to replace the original xbox 360 cord?

I left my xbox cord (the box part) at a friends and desperately need a replacement. is there a common household cord to use?

not that I found. and that rewards 1 is a rip, only like 0.25 points or some minuscule amount and the prices for items are for a 1600 point card 20 points. a 12 month subscription is 44 points. No offense to the official xbox expert or that web site, but it would be faster to get a job, (or if one is already acquired) save up to get one. Again I don’t mean to bash, but, in my opinion, it’s a huge rip.

Xbox 360 Three Red lights as known as the Ring Of Death. A Step By Step Guide

One of the most common Xbox 360 problems ever is the three red lights that appears on the Xbox 360 console ROL (Ring of Light) around the power button or what we call in the gaming community the ring of death, when you receive this three red lights it’s a hardware failure with the actual Xbox 360 console or with the Power Supply (the gray box connected to the wall outlet).

If you see the red ring of death. Go check the xbox 360 power supply light, There are three colors for it:

1. Xbox 360 power supply light is Green.

If you see the green light, this means that your xbox 360 power supply have no problems. And the problem is with your xbox 360 console itself. In this case you need to contact the xbox 360 customer support to have your console replaced. You might want to try to replace it with your retailer but most retailer won’t do it unless you are in the first month of your guarantee. Just give it a try because it might be faster than shipping the console to microsoft to get it repaired or replaced.

2. An orange or yellow light on your xbox 360 power supply.

In normal conditions and when the xbox 360 power supply is on standby mode, its light is orange. So the problem isn’t with your xbox 360 console. But the problem is with the xbox 360 power supply who can’t supply the console with power.

You have first to try unplugging the Xbox 360 power supply from the console & unplug the power cord from the wall outlet also unplug the Xbox 360 power supply from the power cord, wait for a minute then reconnect it all back also try it on another wall outlet without any extension cord at all, and if it’s still doing the same it will be definitely a fault with the Xbox 360 power supply.

3. The power supply light is red.

This might mean that the power supply connection to the xbox 360 isn’t right or having a bit of a problem, unplug the power supply from the xbox 360 console and from the wall out let like the previous step. wait for a few minutes then reconnect everything back and try again.

If it’s still red that would be for sure a fault with your Xbox 360 power supply so then contact Xbox 360 customer support to fulfill your Xbox 360 power supply.

4. There isn’t any light in the xbox 360 power supply.

That usually means that the Xbox 360 power supply is not connected to the wall outlet correctly, but even though it might be a fault with the power supply or the power cord.

Unplug everything like previous steps and wait for a few minutes, then connect it all back again. You might want to try another wall outlet without an extension cord.

You must get in touch with the xbox 360 customer support to fulfill your xbox 360 power supply.
